   Crate Checklist

1.Is the crate the correct size?
The crate must be taller and longer than your pet is when standing tall. For further details see Measuring Your Dog or Measuring Your Cat.

2.Is the crate sturdy?
Even some airline-approved crates are made of thin plastic. We wouldn抰 ship our own pets in them, and we抮e not comfortable shipping your pets in crates like these either.

3.Does the crate have a solid top and bottom?
Wire carriers do not offer your pet sufficient comfort or protection. Top-loaders are convenient for a trip to the vet, but they are not adequate for air travel.

4.Is the crate in good condition?
Please check for cracks, rusted of bent doors or chewed-off corners. Any of these faults can make the crate unusable for air travel. We are happy to replace any missing bolts and to provide food and water bowls.
